Every trip to this city feels incomplete without indulging in a Kathi roll—a flaky paratha filled with juicy chicken or paneer, onions, and spices. Then there’s the sweet side of the city: rosogolla, sandesh, mishti doi—a paradise for dessert lovers.

I remember filming a vlog in New Market, where a local vendor served me a plate of telebhaja (deep-fried snacks) on a rainy evening. The sound of rain, the sizzle of oil, and the warm snack in my hand—it was a magical moment that connected food with feeling.
